Just in: Allow Schools Resume on the 18th, NAPPS tells Benue State Government.
As agitation is ongoing if federal government would allow schools resume on the 18th January, 2021 or not, the Benue State Chairman of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Dr Philip Ominyi has advised the government of the state to allow schools resume on the scheduled date.
The State Chairman who spoke to the press today 12th January, 2021 in Makurdi, has assured the state government that Private Schools in the state are aware of the Covid-19 protocol and fully ready to comply to ensure the safety of the learners.
He however instructed other private schools in the state who are yet to put necessary facilities in place as advised by the Covid-19 special task force to do so with immediate effect.
He advised that Covid-19 has come to stay and we all have to stand to manage the situation in other to ensure safety of all parties.
