June 12 event: Group inaugurate state chapter. Says the nation not in her best due to insecurity .

The National President of a group; National Interest Network, Da-Silva Johnson Esq says that the nation Nigeria is not in her best at the moment due to insecurity in the country. He said this while addressing the Benue State Chapter in Makurdi, on Saturday, June 12, Nigeria democracy day in the inauguration ceremony..

Da-Silva Johnson Esq encouraged the Benue State people and charged them to embrace the network and to team together in other to see the Benue State they desire.

He explained in his short and precise speech that National Interest Network is not a political party but ready to work with all political parties with interest for a better nation.

In his word,
“we love anything that favors the nation and the citizens, we as well hate anything that will not be to national interest”. He added that ;

” Nigeria is not in her best now due to insecurity. Killing everywhere especially in Benue State”.

He expressed pain over the killing going on in Nigeria and that of Benue State where innocent lives are wasted almost daily, and led the group to observe a one minute silence for the departed souls.

The inaugural programme has the network important personalities from the local government areas of Benue State, North Central Zone and other National Executives such as the National Vice President, Hon Girgir Israel Girgir, The national Secretary, Hon Francis Alaku, National Publicity and Media Director, Hon Yusuf Ibrahim, National Women Leader represented by Nasarawa State Chairlady, Hon Asabe Muhammed Okpede, The Zonal Chairman and Secretary, Hon Orogu Yusuf Abbé and Hon Mbawede Ikechukwu Charles.

The new executives of Benue State Chapter were sworn in by the National President as they took the oath of office while he emphasised that they unite and do their best to ensure a better Benue State.

The executives were given their letters of appointment and these include;

1. Hon Iorkyase Franca Hembadoon – Chairman.

2. Hon Isho Richard – Vice Chairman.

3. Hon Gaddy Mercy – State Secretary.

4. Hon Kpenkpen Judith – State Financial Secretary.

5. Hon Tule Ahemen – State Treasurer.

6. Hon Zenke David – State Publicity and Media Secretary.

and others. There appointments begins with immediate effect. A vote of thanks was given through the State Chairlady.

National Interest Network is said to be in about 15 states in Nigeria as at the time this report is been filed.
