The National Interest Network (NIN) Nigeria has condemn the regular attack of lives and properties by bandits in Benue State, Nigeria.
Its National President, Da-Silva Johnson, said this in Makurdi, Benue State while inaugurating the State Chapter of the network and installing the state leadership.
The passionate Nigeria Lover appealed to those concerned to end the spilling of blood in the state.
A one minute silence was observed as led by the National President and he condole with those affected.
The State Chairperson, Hon. Franca Mbadoon, appreciated the National Team for visiting and their interest in Benue State. She promised to work together for the success of the network.
Da-Silva declared that NIN is not a political party and cannot be one in future neither is it a pressure group but a group ready to work for the interest of Nigerians and other nations. Citizens are the focus of NIN and all concerns stakeholder to the nation, Nigerians shall be carried along as we all work towards a better nation; he declared.
The Executive Governor of Benue State has been pressurizing the Federal Government on the need to ensure security in the state.
In the last few months, hundreds of lives have been wasted by bandits killing farmers and burning down villages which has been a major issue of concern to those that cares.
National Interest Network is coming in to express concerns and it is hoped that their pleas would get the desired attention.
